Bocker

Bocker FB PhotoBocker is an 11-year old labradoodle diagnosed with lymphoma.

The dog has tremendous personality.  He’s done modeling and cameos for ads, movies and TV.  Bocker also devotes considerable time to good causes:  He’s the spokesdog for Animal Advocacy and is an active therapy dog for many local charities – he participated in an event to raise funds for the Sandy Hook families, does work for local shelters and volunteers as a therapy dog for several disabled groups.  For all Bocker does to help others, his owner says “He’s my therapy dog first!”.  They are very connected, “a part of each other”; since her husband passed away, Bocker’s been her guiding light.

After Bocker’s diagnosis in December 2014, he started chemo and was deemed in remission by February.  Then he went through a series of radiation treatments, which are now complete, and he’s back to chemo to complete the recommended treatment plan.

We’re happy to play a role in helping Bocker get back to his active role in bringing smiles and good cheer to others in need.

Let’s all send good wishes for Bocker’s continued recovery!
