Blue

Following a CT scan and a biopsy, which fortunately didn’t find any signs of the cancer spreading, surgery was recommended.

To Blue’s owner he is more than a pet, he’s family, his source of comfort, happiness, and unconditional love every day.  In many respects, Blue plays a service dog role, helping his owner get through everything in life.

They’ve been together since Blue was four months old and Blue is still energetic and playful with a lot of life ahead of him if he can get past this health issue.

For Blue’s owner, money is tight.  He has a limited income which he shares with family outside the U.S.  He’s applied to other funds, but either hasn’t qualified or heard back from them.

Fortunately, he was approved for the Care Credit, and, along with his credit card and a grant from the Pie Fund, his owner was able to afford Blue’s surgery, plus some follow-up chemo treatments.

Initial treatments after the surgery are going well and we hope Blue continues to have many more happy and playful times together with his owner!
